Cambridge Exam Preparation Courses
At Manchester Central College, we can offer 5 courses to prepare you to take the Cambridge Suite of examinations. These are:
- Key English Test (KET): at Elementary/Pre-Intermediate level
- Preliminary English Test (PET): at Lower Intermediate level
- First Certificate in English (FCE): at Upper Intermediate level
- Certificate in Advanced English (CAE): at Advanced level
- Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE): at Proficiency level
At each exam you will learn how to:
- Speak accurately and fluently under exam conditions
- Listen for and understand specific information, detail or gist
- Read quickly and effectively for detail or general meaning
- Write sentences, letters, postcards, articles or essays
- Understand authentic spoken English and texts
Our courses will develop your confidence and skills for taking each level of the Cambridge exams. You will learn the structure of your level of exam and do plenty of practice to make sure you succeed.
